A Louisiana Crawfish Boil

and a Texas Chili Cook-off  

A family friendly event in BREA, CA



   When:     Saturday, May 16, 2015, 10 am - 5 pm

                 (Chili Cook-off sets up at 7am & begins cooking at

                  7:30 am.  Shooting range opens at 9 am.  Food 

                  service begins at 11am and ends at 2:30 pm.  Range

                  closes at 4 pm)

  Where:      19001 Tonner Canyon Rd, Brea, California

                   (Firestone - 3000 acre scout facility)

Invited:      Any purchased ticket holders: Cajuns, Non-Cajuns,

                  Family, Friends, Community, must have a meal ticket

Why:        Because.....crawfish is in season and everyone loves

                    a good bowl of chili!

  1. -Eating the South’s 5 major food groups:  Crawfish, Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Tacos, Chili.

  2. -‘So You Think You Can Chili?’ Cook-off Contest

  3. -Ride the Manic! Mechanical Bull!

  4. -Firestone Fun Zone:  Archery, sling shot range & more!

  5. -Sports Shooting:  Separate from the food area, family friendly shooting sports

  6. -North OC SWAT team demo!

  7. -Helicopter Rides:  See Firestone from an Eagles view!  Raffle to win or buy flight time

This is a fundraising event supporting youth shooting sports programs at Firestone Scout Reservation and within the Southern CA community.
